You will meet your Tour Manager in Hounslow West at 06:00 A.M. and join the coach for a leisurely drive to Southampton Port and board the ferry and enjoy 1 hour journey on the ferry. Once we reach East Cowes Port, our journey starts to Yarmouth - sightseeing, Sandown - Beach & Pier and Butterfly World. Yarmouth is located on the western side of the Island and the town has grown up as a result of its natural harbor, which is guarded by Yarmouth Castle, a fortification built to protect the Solent from invading forces by Henry VIII in 1547. Butterfly World, One of the Island's leading tourist attractions, you have the opportunity to learn more about butterflies, visit the Italian & Japanese gardens, koi ponds, fountains, jumping jets, Medina garden center, and more!
After breakfast, we will visit Godshill Model Village, Shanklin Historic Village, Isle of Wight Pearl, and The Needles. Model Village in Godshill is a 1/10th scale version of the village of Godshill and Shanklin Old Village and chine, two of the oldest tourist areas on the Isle of Wight. Houses are fantastic replicas of real buildings, made with sand and cement so they weather as they age. Isle of Wight Pearl houses the largest collection of pearl jewelry in the UK. With over 20 years of experience in the pearl industry, Isle of Wight Pearl is the pearl specialist. The Needles are inextricably linked with Alum Bay and are a major tourist draw. Scenic boat trips operating from Alum Bay that offer close-up views of the Needles are very popular, Chire Lift, 4D cinema, Alum Bay Glass Manufacture also located in the same place.
